A Full-Color Map Booklet to the Mainland Trails of Sleeping Bear Dunes

Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is Michigan’s most popular national park, featuring the largest freshwater dunes in the country. It’s home to the beloved DuneClimb, incredible beaches, and the most interesting trails south of the Mackinac Bridge. The Friends of Sleeping Bear Dunes and MichiganTrailMaps.com have teamed up to produce a booklet of the best trail maps of the wonderful hikes, snowshoe routes, and groomed ski trails in this 72,000-acre national park in the northwest corner of Michigan.

The Mainland Trails of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore covers the park’s 15 trails in Benzie and Leelanau Counties. This 40-page booklet is full-color printed on glossy 80-pound test paper with a cardstock cover and features 18 detailed maps, color photos, and descriptions of the trails that are used by hikers, cross-country skiers, and snowshoers. The trail range from the 22-mile, paved Sleeping Bear Dune Heritage Trail to the iconic Dunes Trail out to lake Michigan. Each trail map contains a QR code that allows you to download larger, more detailed maps or georeferenced maps onto a smartphone or mobile device from the MichiganTrailMaps.com website.
