Backcountry North's newest store is a 10,000 square-foot building on US-31 south of the downtown Traverse City area. Packed with the latest equipment, gear and outdoor clothing, the store also features a drive-in Yakima installation bay for indoor roof rack assembly, a dedicated travel section for your vacation needs and more parking with easier access. The store is also equipped with projector equipment for store classes and presentations, and a small Backcountry North museum, showcasing vintage backpacking and camping equipment.

Monday-Friday: 10 a.m.- 8 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m. - 5 a.m.
